are you tired of doing relationships the same old way? have you been expecting different results with the same patterns?
i am the founder of the intimacy seminars™ and psychological services. i am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California (PSY30170), certified clinical trauma professional, and trauma informed registered yoga instructor (RYT).
i specialize in couples, sex, relationship, and trauma therapy. using a culturally meaningful systems-based therapy that utilizes traditional talk therapy, together, we can identify your LOVE BLUEPRINT.
other techniques used include EMDR, trauma conscious yoga, and other somatic approaches can help you process and metabolize your unhealed wounds, connect to your body, and birth your sensual self.
together, we will focus on helping you reach your relational potential by increasing your capacity for intimacy and vulnerability. my clinical experience have been significant in helping individuals and couples develop and evolve by providing a window into themselves, intergenerational patterns, and their generational assignment.
this work isn't easy, which is why i am warm and supportive, yet i challenge you to hold onto self and operate from the best in you (personal integrity) while maintaining relationships with others.
my intimacy seminars have been sought out by many churches, organizations, armed services, and homes across the United States, West Africa, and the United Kingdom. my ability to orbit people into action has been life changing for many. i look forward to being a part of your healing journey.
do you feel like you’re performing a role that you didn’t sign up for? do you have trouble falling asleep or focusing on tasks because the mind chatter is too loud? are you constantly on the go because slowing down feels too scary? reaching out for support can be tough, especially if you come from an environment that stigmatizes mental health. i work with clients to identify their personal values and to create a balance between their cultural traditions and daily life in the West. together, we can cultivate a space where you can feel seen and heard and bring in the parts of you that were silenced and rejected.
my approach to working with clients is to create a safe space for them to integrate their own spiritual and/or cultural practices, alongside compassion and humor. i take a trauma-informed, integrative approach drawing on psychodynamic theories, internal family systems (IFS), somatic experiencing (SE), and mindfulness. i welcome adolescent and adult clients experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem and multi-layered identity issues, life transitions, family conflict, DV and other trauma, and couples of blended backgrounds and mixed identities. strengthening your relationship with yourself is necessary to connect with others.
as a second-generation South Asian American of mixed heritage, i have a keen interest in intergenerational trauma and how the cycles show up in our daily lives. i work with clients to discover and integrate the parts of themselves that may be neglected to enhance their relationships. i hope to create a space in which you feel safe to share, and through our sessions, we can look at what aspects of your life you would like to shift. together, we can slowly explore and uncover the layers that make up your identity, and start to gain a sense of empowerment in your purpose and your relationship with yourself and others.
